Jaeo Finance Education Fee for university in Singapore

For tertiary education, the focus of most students in Singapore is to get into their school of choice. This could be NUS, NTU, SMU, any other university. Some people are fortunate enough to be fully sponsored by their parents for their tertiary education. However, for those less fortunate ones, they would have to consider

  • What are the options available?
  • How much can you and/or your parents afford to pay for your university degree?

In this article, we will be assessing the general cost of tertiary education in singapore with the following assumptions:

  • You are a Singaporean

  • You are looking at general degrees such as business, arts and science, and not more costly ones like law or medicine
  • The tenure for the degree is 3 year (the honours year is not counted)
  • You will be taking a full-time degree

In the table below, you can have a quick glance at the estimated course fees for Singaporeans before we go deeper into details

Foreigners and Permanent Residents are also eligible to apply for the MOE Tuition Grant with the condition that should your grant application be accepted, you would have to work in Singapore for 3 years after you graduate. Note that the subsidy for PRs and foreigners are lesser.
